Beverly Garber Thompson

Artist and Illustrator

"To paint is freedom and you paint from your secret heart. You paint not because you want recognition, but for your own self expression to interpret the beauty that surrounds you. I want to add a little magic to your life through my paintings and to encourage you to wander through them and enjoy them."

A graduate of California College of The Arts, Berkeley, CA with a degree in Illustration and a strong background in Graphic Arts, Beverly is an award winning artist who paints in all media and subject matter with a wide range of styles from Impressionistic, Realistic and Abstract.

Some of her clients have been Potlatch Corporation, Freemont Bank, Blackhawk Corp., Triad Paints, PacTel, Morris Cat Foods, she created a calendar with her 12 paintings of the SFO area for John Muir Hospital and a kleenex box design for Lucky stores to name a few. Beverly has a giclee copy of her painting "Grape Creek" on permanent display in the new Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Waxahachie, Texas. She currently has an on-going one-woman show at De Soto City Hall, and had a one-woman show at La Cima Club at William's Square in Irving, Texas behind the famous statues of the Wild Mustangs. Beverly's work in California has included being represented in galleries in Carmel, CA. She has worked for the Bay Area Transportation Commission in the Graphics Arts dept, and also for Bell Design Group.
